A live factory alarm stops most tools talking to the BCM on a lost-key job. Programme two keys after an erase.

Watch out for
Timed PATS security wait of around 10 minutes over OBD. All keys lost needs two keys programmed before it starts.

Watch out for
Most tools' global builds have no Holden menu — you need the Australian software. Pad the security number to six digits.

Watch out for
All keys lost is blocked over plain OBD. Needs a bench cluster read or an online calculation (about £15–40).

Watch out for
The OBD port is in the centre console, not the footwell. All keys lost usually means pulling the HFM and reading it on the bench.
